If I want to revisit the locations of the plant and equipment that were on a particular site many months ago, is there a way to regenerate the information on the google map in Fleet Home ?
Hello
You can have access to this information into the Movement tab :
Search you machine into your fleet and then click on it :
You will now see the Status page, click on Movement :
On the top right of the Map you can see Trips. Click on it and select Geolocation
Select the period needed and get all the GPS points from that :

I have also added an article from our Help Center to help you.
Note : we have 400 days of historical data. Oldest data cannot be displayed.
Please let me know if you need more help.
Cheers

What I want is to have a snapshot of the location of ALL the machines that were operating or present on a particular project/site some 6 months ago (say).
Hi
You can do this by using the Sites API (https://developers.trackunit.com/reference/gethistory).
If you already created your site it is easy, just use the Site Id and a time interval as input to the API. If you did not create the site, you actually still can get the history. Just create a site and set the start date back to where you want it and then the history will be generated for that period. It will take some time but eventually you will have the full history of your site.
You may use the geolocation in
Movement→ change trip to geolocation
set the date
export to excel
you will have a list of timestamp, address, lon and lat coordinates
visit
https://www.earthpoint.us/exceltokml.aspx
upload and convert the excel to KML file, and open the KML with google earth
“Movement” only deals with one machine and tracks its whereabout against time.
I want a snapshot of ALL the machines on site on a particular date, say 1st May 2023.

Yes, tried, but did not quite understand how to do it .
Can you share where you got stuck? Maybe we can figure it out together :)
