You now have access to the Service Management app, but what now?
The first step is to create your service plan and here are some useful points to make the most of your services plans.
- Design your service plans before creating them. Once a plan is assigned to an asset, most of the plan gets locked.
- Some things to consider when designing a service plan:
- Can you create create a service plan that can be used for all of your assets? Or asset type? What about model?
- Naming convention. Have a naming convention for consistency and something that will help you identify what the service plan is.
- Remember that a service plan can have multiple services, so consider consolidating your services under one service plan.
Once you know what your service plan(s) should look like, you can start creating them in the Service Management app!
