Terms & Conditions
Trackunit Community Terms of Use
General code of conduct
The Trackunit Community is there for everyone; however, we want to make sure that the community offers a positive experience for all visitors. The following rules and guidelines are presented here so that you know what is expected of you and what you can expect from other users.
By accessing this website, you acknowledge acceptance of these Terms of Use. These Terms of Use apply in addition to Trackunit’s general terms and conditions found here and our privacy policy for Trackunit Community found here.
Trackunit reserves the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time at its sole discretion.
Be friendly
Users must treat one another with respect. You may not post any racist, insulting, sexist, discriminatory, threatening, or otherwise insulting comments, nor use coarse language, make inappropriate jokes, or otherwise harass other users.
Stay legal
It is unacceptable to post any material that would infringe on any patent, trademark, copyright, or other proprietary rights of any part or disclosing any trade secrets (or other confidential information), that contains software viruses or any other computer code or files that are designed to disrupt, damage, or limit the functioning of any software or hardware, or that is deemed to be illegal by any local or international law.
Stay on topic
Please do not change the subject of a discussion to something not intended by the original poster. Any off-topic posting or “hijacking” of threads will result in content being removed and ultimately can cause users to be denied access to the community. Please be aware that any information you post can be obtained and used by others. You post at your own risk and responsibility.
No commercial use
Users may not use the forum for (commercial) activities such as the advertising or sale of products or services, the sending of commercial messages (spam), the offering of (interactive) games, or the advertising of other chat forums or websites.
Be careful
Most users are happy to help out on the Trackunit Community but remember that their advice is theirs only and that you are responsible for deciding whether or not to follow it. If the advice given by a user sounds wrong to you, do not try it. In particular, refrain from sharing personal information (telephone numbers, email addresses, etc.) of yourself, other people, or companies.
Trackunit retains the right to remove content and limit user’s access.
Trackunit does not generally edit, monitor, endorse, or pre-screen content posted by users on the Trackunit Community. However, Trackunit reserves the right to, at its sole discretion, to change or remove content or to restrict access to individual users, should it be regarded as necessary. The Trackunit Team will limit any users’ access and remove material that (i) does not comply with these terms, or (ii) that is otherwise harmful, objectionable, or inaccurate. Trackunit Moderators may take any actions they deem necessary in their own judgment to support these Terms.
