Hello all!

We are currently brainstorming on where and how we could install Trackunit Kins on our buckets.

Does anyone have a good idea or a good tip for me?

My concerns are protecting the kin from any shock while maintaining good connectivity with satellites.

Thanks

Hello @Daniel B, welcome to the Trackunit Community.

For an excavator bucket, installing a Kin along the ear plates is an excellent location. The Kin uses Bluetooth for connectivity, as such: Avoiding signal-blocking locations such as mounting beneath or inside metal. Kins are rated IP69K which means they have the highest level of dust and water resistance. They are also UV resistant, and designed to work on heavy-duty and off-road vehicles.
