Can the TU600 "measure" and "display" the internal temperature of the device itself?

Hello SAK 😄

Happy New Year! Thank you for using our community! 🚀

The TU600 can measure the internal temperature of the device, but so far we don’t have it displayed as a standard.

You can purchase this temperature sensor accessory to the M8 connector:

https://trackunit.com/accessories/temperature-sensor/

If you have any further questions, please let me know 😊

Wish you a lovely Monday 😁

Additional questions from SAK:

Thank you for your response.

I was hoping to first do a simple temperature check without adding an additional sensor.
From the results, I would also like to be able to confirm the high temperature load from the vehicle to the device.

I have an additional question.
Is it possible to obtain the device temperature through API integration?

Thank you in advance.

Hello SAK;

Thank you for getting back to me 😊

We at Customer Support can help you out with a temperature check of the device if needed. If you e-mail us a request at support@trackunit.com with the serial-number of the device we can then inform you the information needed.

Yes, it’s possible! The API integration for the temperature can be found here: https://developers.trackunit.com/reference/getdevicetelemetry

Please let me know if you have any further questions!

Wish you a lovely day ahead 😄

Thank you.
Let me confirm.

So you're saying that information about the temperature sensor installed inside the device
cannot be obtained even from APIs such as the "GraphQL API".
If necessary, you can request it from customer support and they will tell you.

Next, you're saying that information about the two temperature sensors connected to the M8 connector can be obtained using the "GraphQL API".
